C#.NET Web Developer / Intermediate AngularJS - May 14, 2018


Maplewood is evolving its existing Student Information System (SIS) into a new web technology stack to meet the demands of our interactive customer experience. We are looking for two AngularJS Developers who have a passion for technology and can think critically about performance, security, scalability and reliability of software. Additionally you have designed and implemented efficient software solutions using object oriented languages with relational databases such as MSSQL.

The position’s primary focus is to implement user interface elements in the form of a desktop browser based web application, with a focus on design, performance and security. The incumbents will work within a team environment with services integration, API and database developers and communicate with the API using standard methods.

  • Develop highly interactive and secure web applications utilizing JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, JSON, Angular JS, Angular material & later versions - Integrating Restful API’s for internal and external web services ensuring high performance.

  • Translate functional/nonfunctional requirements into systems requirements validating user actions on the client side and providing responsive feedback.

  • Create custom general use modules and components extending the elements and modules of core Angular JS.

  • Resolve existing front end and .NET API issues, owning task assignments and see through to completion and execution.

  • Aid web app development team in continuing to add features and creating innovative solutions.


  • Intermediate (or above) knowledge of AngularJS best practices and commonly used modules based on previous work experience creating self-contained, reusable and testable modules and components.

  • A good understanding of the end-to-end web technology stack, from UI to API through to back-end database.

  • Experience using ASP.Net, C#, Entity Framework, LINQ, MVC and .NET Web Services.

  • Knowledge on how to integrate web applications with Restful API’s.

  • Knowledge of UI design best practices.

  • Intermediate (or above) knowledge of relational databases such as MSSQL.

  • Knowledge of VB.NET would be nice to have.
