Manitoba Report Card Training
Starting in the Fall of 2013, all public Manitoba schools will be required to use the report card templates as provided by the Department. You'll find report card templates (for illustration, not direct use) http://www.edu.gov.mb.ca/k12/assess/report_cards/index.html.

Check out the following 45 minute web-based training sessions, designed to help you through the report card process. If you have any questions regarding our Manitoba Report Card Training Plan, please feel free to contact training@maplewood.com.

Additionally, requirements will appear at the bottom of a student's history tab and are a valuable resource when accessing graduation requirements. Manitoba high schools have not been required to set this up previously. It is strongly recommended that you attend this session, even if your school has this set up because the requirements must conform to a certain definition. Learning Objectives include:

Create A Standardized Course Code List

This session is designed for elementary schools that have never used student timetables. Although it is not necessary to build timetables that show exactly when each subject is taught, the timetable must contain each subject to be reported upon in the report card. Standard elementary course codes are required for the Elementary Report Cards. As such, schools will have to set this up within Maplewood. We have automated certain components of the set up, however, schools should be aware that Elementary class information is now required within Maplewood to facilitate the Manitoba Provincial Report Card. This session is a pre-requisite for Wizard Wednesdays. Learning Objectives include:

- New Courses/Classes
- Assigning Classes to Students
- Editing Timetables
